Here are 10 essential tips to help you maintain your lash extensions and keep them stunning!
Lash Care 101 – Keep Them Looking Gorgeous!
1. Let Them Stay Dry (At First!)
- Avoid swimming, workouts, or any activity that gets them wet for the first 24 hours. This allows the glue to fully bond and set.
2. Skip the Mascara (or Use the Right One!)
- Ideally, you won’t need mascara – but if you do, ask your technician to recommend an oil-free formula. Regular mascara can weaken the adhesive!
3. Gentle Makeup Removal
- Use cotton tips to softly remove eye makeup. Swipe gently over your eyelids, avoiding the lash line to protect your extensions.
4. Stay Away from Oils
- Avoid cleansers, makeup removers, or moisturizers with oil or solvents – they break down the glue. Ask your technician for oil-free product recommendations (we love LashGame’s Foaming Cleanser!).
5. Be Kind to Your Eyes
- No rubbing! Pat your eyes dry gently to prevent accidental lash loss.
6. Watch the Clothes!
- Be careful when pulling clothes over your head – fabrics can catch and tug on your lashes.
7. Hands Off!
- Avoid pulling at your lashes – it can cause natural lashes to fall out and create gaps.
8. Skip the Tint
- Don’t tint your extensions. The rubbing during tinting can lead to premature lash loss.
9. Say No to Curlers
